Apart from the shops being packed at 8 a.m.....I did think I might get there at 6 but couldn't drag myself out of bed...you must know it's Christmas when 3 men are queued up at the barbers five minutes before they open.

You must have gone to the wrong shops. I was at Marion at 8am. Had a car park right by the doors IN THE SHADE, went into Coles for, would you believe, a roll of paper towel and walked straight to the chck out operator [no wait] paid my $1.45 and proceeded then to do ALL my Christmas shopping before 11.30am meeting to close friends accidentally and chatting for about 20mins to each. Hoe again by 12noon and every present wrapped by 1.30, Yay. I love Christmas Eve. W
