IN THE DARKNESS
It is in the darkness
that he comes:
an open stable
a dangerous garden
an empty cave
We barely see the shimmer
and fail to recognise
the challenge
we just as easily
walk away
unmoved, unrealising
that it is in the darkness
that life is changed
