The ACT has passed same-sex marriage legislation.Perhaps we should call it something else.....equal marriage, justice for all, perhaps even .."let's punish everyone!"
It remains to be seen how all this will fall out.
Australian Governments have not been good at allowing Territories (as opposed to States) to forge their own way. Quelling euthanasia legislation. Will they now crush same-sex-marriage? They seem less likely so to do.
In the meantime some will squeak in.Good look to them!
