Lifting the roof

This substantial part of the main roof appears to have been done in only one day.
We live in hope that this project will be completed in time!

what is 'the project' mate?

we are "reconfiguring" our buildings....so our former Hall (very under-utilised) is being demolished and rebuilt as childcare centre.
This in my mind will provide a community service and give us a bit of an income

How many people in your congregation?

We are an aging parish of about 200-250 persons with 2 churches and 2 halls.
Part of the issue here is about realigning our assets to moire accurately reflect the times, and where we find ourselves to be.
I would hope that by making our hall available for childcare we are meeting a community need, and also getting a little income for our parish.

What are the other parts of the issue?

not quite sure what your question is poko. there are any number of other issues so you probably need to be more specific
